Preschool Teacher's Job description
We are looking for an experienced Preschool Teacher with a degree in early childhood education to prepare small children for kindergarten by easing them into organized education. You will teach them important elements that they will encounter soon after they enter school life. To teach classes of 3-year-olds two days a week from 9:30-11:30 a.m. and 4-year-olds three days a week from 9:00-1:00 p.m., with the assistance of a teacher's helper you must be energetic, display sincere love, and compassion, and above all be kind and patient with children.
Programs:
3-Year-Old Class
Tuesday, Thursday – 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
$100/Monthly tuition fee
The three-year-old program is for children who will be 3 years old on or before August 31.
All children must be toilet trained.
Pre-K Class
Monday, Wednesday, Friday – 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
$135/Monthly tuition fee
The four/five-year-old program is for children who will be 4 years old on or before August 31.
Pre-K Class with Lunch Option
Mondays, Wednesdays, Friday (Lunch Days) 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
$135 Monthly tuition fee (+$5 per day for lunch)
Our Pre-K Class Lunch Day Option is designed to help children with the transition to all-day kindergarten. On these days, children would bring a packed lunch and would participate in activities including learning games, science experiments, cooking activities and crafts.

About Us
Salem Lutheran Preschool, established in 1978, is a Christian-based preschool which welcomes children of all faiths. Our purpose is to promote healthy emotional and social development among pre-school children through cooperative play in an atmosphere of love, caring and understanding.
Our programs include large and small muscle activities, arts and crafts, singing, dancing, cooking, housekeeping, dress-up, dramatic play, water and rice table play, simple science experiments, outdoor activities, story time, and fieldtrips. We also use a variety of videos, puzzles, books, blocks, construction games, toys, readiness games, musical instruments. Pre-Kindergarten skills are also incorporated through games, books, songs and worksheets.
Activities involving the major Christian festivals of Christmas and Easter are incorporated into activities at the appropriate times of the year. A Christmas program is offered for the families and friends. A simple prayer before snack time are offered as well. Of course, students from other faiths are encouraged to share their traditions with their classes as well.
